Clear skies coupled with unusually warm weather in early February translated into a successful four-day event in February — drawing more than 7,700 people to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.

Hundreds of recreational vehicles from pop-up campers to Class A Motor Homes were on display at the event — marking the 12th year the annual show has taken place at the equestrian center.

Hosted by the Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) Northeast Florida Chapter, participating dealers included Blue Compass RV, Campers Inn of Jacksonville, Dana Drake’s Countryside RV, D&H Truck Camper Emporium and General RV Center  – along with more than 60 vendor booths representing RV suppliers, campground owners and other businesses.

FRVTA Chapter President Gregg Stachacz said he was especially proud to find out that of the four RV shows held in Florida during 2024, Jacksonville’s RV Show was the first to see an increase in attendance over last year.

“The weather, the promotions and advertising…I think all those things came together to help make this show such a success,” he said.

Stachacz says the local chapter will meet the determine the date for Jacksonville’s Fall RV Show, and have already identified some dates in February 2025 for the MegaShow’s return to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.
